- Monday.com offers a library of pre-built automation recipes designed to automate common project management tasks. To use these automation templates, click on the automation icon (lightning bolt) at the top right corner of your board and select ‘Automation Center.’ Browse through the available automation recipes, such as task assignment, deadline reminders, and status updates, and click ‘Add’ to apply them to your board.

Custom Automations:
- If you have specific workflow requirements that aren’t covered by pre-built automation recipes, you can create custom automations in Monday.com. To do this, click on the automation icon and select ‘Create custom automation.’ Define the trigger conditions, such as when a status changes or a due date is reached, and specify the actions you want to be automatically triggered in response to these conditions.
