Long-Term Volunteering Project 2023: Source of Funding: FRSE, European Solidarity Corps
The Long-Term Volunteering Project of the European Solidarity Corps involves the arrival of thirty volunteers from European Union countries, as well as neighboring and partner countries, to Poland. The volunteers’ stay is set to last for 150 days. Participants in the project attend accredited educational and cultural institutions. Some volunteers assist in primary schools, sharing their experiences, aiding in English language learning, and imparting their culture.
Others engage in preschools, using play to convey various values to children and teach them English. Municipal libraries are also part of the project, where volunteers focus on organizing various cultural events. The Kielce Cultural Center is similarly involved, where assigned international volunteers utilize their artistic and organizational skills to help prepare local events and actions.
The final sphere of activity for project participants is in our organization’s office, the Regional Volunteer Center, where volunteers take part in organizing various international and local projects that we handle.
